Kirsten attempts to shoot an incredibly tiny target at ranges longer than traditional shooting distances — 300 yards, in the standing position, or offhand shooting! She starts the video by pointing out that she can barely see her target and that she may have bitten off more than she can chew.

The target is very tiny — it’s actually a large egg, and extreme perfection and precision is needed for this shot, Kirsten says. The target is so small it can not even be seen with the naked eye, and barely even with a scope. She does some math on it, but she says she can’t be sure about the numbers, but she will give it a shot, literally.

Kirsten runs through the equipment she has, all of which need to be calibrated precisely for her to pull this off. She zooms her sight in, which measures 304 yards. She also demonstrates how much she’ll have to angle her rifle, as she’s practiced a bit. Her first shot misses the target by a few inches, the second one barely grazes the target, the third one hits the same spot as the second. It takes a few tries, but she finally hits the target enough to move it a few inches. She goes to check it, saying that she’s not sure she broke the egg, but she knows she definitely moved it.

She sets up to try again, determined to break the egg. On her first try back, she concentrates for quite a long time, aims and hits the egg, breaking it this time. Those who watch closely will see the dust clouds hit the mountain far off in the distance as she attempts this incredibly difficult trick shot – she says it’s more like performance shooting.

She has a heavy, stainless steel Volquartsen 22LR with the Inferno Stock
