Matt reminds viewers that 2-3 years ago, he made a video called, “My EDC,” which basically showcased his everyday carry — the stuff he carries every day. He wanted to make another video, since it’s been a couple of years, and a lot has changed. He has since figured out what works and what doesn’t, and has changed his kit accordingly.

His keys now have a cat on it, and he has a new truck so the key for that is there, along with a little prybar with a bottle opener. He has his wallet, phone, a folding pocket knife, a fixed blade (stuck into a sheath in the waistband of his jeans), and a Glock 23, which is a .40 caliber. He also has a .380 as backup (and an extra magazine), in case his Glock fails to shoot any approaching troublemakers, of course. Then he can point it and say that it’s going to take longer and will be more painful, but the bullet from the little gun can kill.

In addition, Matt has guns in the truck, which can be considered everyday carry since the truck is always with him. There’s a big knife, a 9mm pistol in the glove box, two extra magazines for it, a 1911 chambered in .45 ACP in a lockbox inside the same glove box, a shotgun pistol, a .44 Magnum in case a bear charges him, a .500 Magnum in case he ever goes to a safari and a rhino charges him, and a rifle for the poachers that come after him for killing the rhino.

There’s a 9mm SBR tucked into the back seat door, an AK-47 in the driver’s side door (for ISIS guys in body armor), a rifle-calibered pistol in the other back seat door, a sniper rifle in a lockbox under the back seat for when somebody needs saving from a distance, a compartment in the back of the truck with a zombie gun — for zombies, of course, an AK-47 pistol for if the zombies are wearing body armor. His tailgate also has a compartment with a .57 pistol, a Desert Eagle for if the guy is wearing two sets of body armor on, a .300 Winchester Magnum for shooting guys a thousand yards away and a 50 BMG in case there’s level 4 armor involved.

Matt has one last gun for defense purposes in the roof of the truck, which requires some assembly. The roof has a tent for storage, which can literally be raised on the roof. He has a submachine gun up there on a tripod, and he has plenty of ammo in compartments in the truck.
