In this video, Eric and Chad from Iraqveteran8888 talk about the top five (5) guns that they think are suitable to buy for your female partner or friend. This is not to be confused with the top 5 guns for ladies in general. It’s not an assumption about what’s right for ladies, but rather just suggestions. In no particular order, they listed the Ruger LCP, Smith & Wesson LadySmith 642, Smith & Wesson Shield, AR-15 Pistol, and Ruger 10/22.

The Ruger LCP is a very lightweight, compact, pocket-sized semiautomatic handgun. It is easy to manipulate and has built-in sights. The gun is perfect for conceal-carry and it comes with a little pouch that helps protect the trigger. It is reasonably priced and it comes with a couple of mags and a holster. A caveat is that it has some recoil, so it’s better for those with some experience.

Next up is the Smith & Wesson LadySmith 642. It has an alloy frame and a stainless barrel. It’s really nice and lightweight and it comes with a little wood grip. It’s a classic double-action only and has an internal hammer. It’s a safe and effective gun that is easy to train on. Guys can tote this too.

Next is the Smith & Wesson Shield. The Performance Center model is a great option. It’s a nice-shooting gun with nice follow-up shots. It also comes with a relatively generous magazine capacity. It’s compact, easy to shoot, and accurate. You cannot go wrong with a Shield.

The AR-15 Pistol is another great option for the ladies. It’s a great gun to take to the range to have fun and practice with. It’s a bedside type gun that is lightweight and easy to maneuver.

The fifth gun is the Ruger 10/22. It’s a light gun that you can shoot all the time because it has a light recoil. it’s really easy to take care of and it’s aesthetically pleasing as well. Ruger has a basic version, but the boat paddle stock is no longer produced.

At the end of the day, it’s up to you to decide since you know your female partner or friend better. Who knows, maybe she prefers that you build her a hunting rifle instead.
