Klymit is a company that challenges traditional approaches to the conception and fabrication of outdoor products. Klymit believes that the experience of outdoor enthusiasts can be enhanced with new technologies. Klymit is well known for its camping pads that feature body mapping technology and loft pockets.
The Insulated Double V is a comfortable double-wide luxury pad that provides 4-season insulation and comfort for campers. The Insulated Double V is cozy enough for two. The body-mapped V chamber design limits air movement and maximizes comfort. The pad only weighs 52 ounces (1.47 kilograms).
The Insulated Double V features Klymalite’s trademarked insulation technology, which isolates the top and bottom halves of the pad. This isolates the cold air on the bottom while keeping the warm air next to your body. The pad’s size also fits easily in a two-person tent and is durable enough to sleep on the ground under the stars.
The Hammock V pad fits all standard hammocks – single or double wide. It features coated non-slip zones on the top and bottom, to keep your pad and sleeping bag in place all night. The Hammock V pad wraps the body to create a barrier preventing cold from creeping in from the bottom and sides. It can be inflated with just 15 to 20 breaths, and is easy to carry at 27 ounces.
Klymit also introduced a new hammock pad – the Insulated Hammock V. This incorporates Klymit’s signature body-mapping technology and strategically placed non-slip zones to hold the hammock pad in place while you sleep. Just like the original Hammock V, the Insulated Hammock V is designed to prevent cold air from creeping in the bottom and the sides. The Insulated Hammock V won Gear Institute’s Best New Gear Award for Outdoor Retailer in Winter 2017.
