Afghanistan took delivery of 10,000 automatic rifles and millions of rounds of ammunition as a gift from Russia. Back in February 2016, a Russian military transport plane made the delivery to Kabul’s airport.

After watching the video you can read more about this event on www.immortal.org. And an AK-47 plant is opening in the United States — in Pompano Beach, FL.

About the AK-47

The AK-47, nicknamed the Kalashnikov, is a gas-operated selective-fire rifle developed by the Soviet Union. The original design work began towards the end of World War II, and in 1946 was presented to Russian officials for trials. Today, decades later, they are still the most popular assault rifles in the world — primarily because of their reliability under harsh conditions, as well as their low production costs (compared to Western standards). The Kalashnikov is available in virtually every geographic region in the world.
